My Favorite Nutrient Dense Superfood!

December 3, 2014 //  by Julie Tartak

If there is one thing I am always trying to get into my body, it's GREENS!   Sometimes I need a boost and a little help from one of my favorite smoothie enhancers, Greens + Advanced Multi Raw Superfood Supplement.  The reason I was drawn to this particular brand was because it was gluten free.  However, when I began to read the ingredients and realized that these Greens would be such an essential vitamin, mineral and antioxidant mix, I knew this is what my body needed. The other feature I really liked was that they used infrared activation so as to preserve the heat sensitive phytonutrients in the greens and maintains the quality of the superfoods!  This means that what naturally occurs in your greens to give you nutrients in the raw form, is retained even through their …

Are You An Antacid Junkie?

Some of My Favorite A’s

October 2, 2014 //  by Julie Tartak

These are just a few of the A's that I love so much!  Each A is a gift to my Palette and makes me oh so happy knowing that some of the seriously nutritious foods I eat begin with the very first letter in our Alphabet! Almonds- A handful a day helps you receive about of quarter of your daily nutrients like calcium, magnesium, manganese, copper, potassium, selenium and they are high in fiber.  Don't be concerned about the percentage of fat when label checking, almonds contain mostly healthy fat, the unsaturated kinds. They have been rumored to be good for your heart due to the Vitamin E content and good for your colon.  It's also been mentioned that Almonds help give you a flat tummy! With those kinds of rumors, I think a handful a day is a good decision. Apples-  When you …
